Featuring Central Distributors and Cold River Distilling. \nAt Graze\, we strive to increase awareness about the importance of supporting local and sustainable producers. Our goal is to strengthen local communities and economies\, and to create new and sustainable income streams for local and family farmers\, as well as craft beer\, spirit and wines producers within the state of Maine. This year\, we are partnering with local non-profits\, and $15 from every ticket sold will directly benefit their work in our state. For the June 12th dinner\, The Dempsey Center is the beneficiary. The Dempsey Center makes life better for people impacted by cancer. They offer personalized care through counseling\, support groups\, nutrition\, integrative therapies\, movement and fitness\, and more – at no cost. For additional information click here. \nAn evening at Graze at Pineland Farms begins at 6pm for cocktail hour with signature drinks provided by Cold River\, followed by a four course amuse bouche style dinner. SUMMARY:Maine Beer Company - Prince Percy Day
DESCRIPTION:Our second annual Prince Percy Day is on Saturday\, June 13th! \nPrince Percy\, our Pilsner\, is named after a spotted turtle at the Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick\, a longtime partner of Maine Beer Company. Perseus\, or Percy\, is one of their many animal ambassadors whose namesake stems from the constellation pattern on his back. He reminds us that small steps can lead to big things. \nPrince Percy Day is a family-friendly event hosted at our tasting room\, offering plenty of fun and special prizes. We will be grilling hot dogs and serving Turtle Tracks ice cream—a flavor reminiscent of the classic Moose Tracks. There will be music from Arthur Terembula from noon to 2:00 p.m. and more fun events from 11:00am-3:00pm. \nLeading up to the event and throughout the day\, visitors can enroll in a 50/50 raffle. For each entry\, a plastic turtle with your name will be placed in our fountain. When the raffle closes\, a random turtle will be selected\, and a winner will be announced. The total proceeds from raffle tickets will be split between the winner and the Center for Wildlife. \nWe hope to see you there! \nThis event is free.
