Cotton Weeds Quilt Shop – Slow-Stitch Retreat at the James Place Inn

We’ve added another Slow-Stitch weekend in the fall due to popular demand!
This is an overnight retreat that’s all about hand sewing! Come to the James Place Inn in Freeport for 3 days of fun. We’ll have some demos, workshops, and time to stitch your own projects. Topics may include: hand embroidery, wool applique, hand piecing, hand quilting, punchneedle, English paper piecing, maybe more! Bring any hand stitching project you’re working on for free-stitch time!
Arrival time at the James Place Inn is at 3pm on Friday Oct. 17. We will provide lunch on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday’s breakfast is lovingly made by Bill and Mary Ann Hinko at the James Place Inn. Departure time on Sunday Oct. 19 is early afternoon.
