Maine-native Maggie Knowles is the editor in chief of edible MAINE magazine, where she helps spread inspiring stories from our state’s unique food space. When not writing, she and her husband Chef Josh Berry host private culinary events, laugh at their chickens and insist on nightly family dinners with their two moody teenagers.
Nina Interlandi Bell still dresses like the guitar player in her first band. But these days you’ll find her slinging wild dishes on MasterChef or rocking out on her Maine homestead, instead of playing a gig at a Brooklyn dive bar. She is a chef who hunts for wild ingredients, author of the book “Foraging for the Rest of Us,” and Creative Strategist for a tech company. And when she’s not cooking or eating weird things, you’ll probably find her running through the woods shooting music videos.
If you are looking for the best pizza and ice cream in Maine, you probably already know about Jason Nappi. On the weekend evenings, he’s one of Maine’s favorite meteorologists at NEWS CENTER Maine, but in his spare time he eats his way across Maine and writes about it on his blog and social media accounts. Jason’s family operated The Bakery & Cafe on Main St in Kennebunk in the mid-2000s and he spent time learning the ropes in their commercial kitchen.
