Freeport Community Library – Book Sale
September 20 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until September 20, 2025
The Friends of the Freeport Community Library’s annual Book Sale will be held September 18-21 in the Freeport Community Library Meeting Room. It kicks off with a preview fundraiser on Wednesday, September 17 from 3:00pm-7:00pm, when a $20 entry fee will grant shoppers an early opportunity to select from the range of donated materials. The main sale will take place Thursday-Saturday from 10:00am-5:00pm, then on Sunday and Monday from 10:00am-3:00pm it will be buck-a-bag only, so bring your bags and fill up on good deals!
Your donations make it possible! From September 2-16, we will happily accept all manner of quality books, CDs, audiobooks, & DVDs in the library. Please, no textbooks, VHS tapes, nor moldy or stinky materials. Please bring your boxed or bagged materials directly into the meeting room hallway during library hours (follow the signs to the side entrance of the building). Be safe when depositing donations; staff will not be available to assist with unloading.
Credit cards are welcome. The book sale is 100% run by volunteers, and volunteers are needed! If you’re interested in volunteering, please visit friendsfcl.org. For questions or directions to Freeport Community Library, call 207-865-3307.
