Freeport Players – One-Act Plays by Maine Playwrights
This year’s showcase features quirky comedies by five Maine playwrights (and one Californian), including two that premiered at the Mane Playwrights Festival. We are pleased to offer you: “A Snowball’s Chance In Hell” by Chelsea Cook, “The Afterlife Transit Office” by Megan Tripald, “My Scale is Lying to Me” by Scott Mullen, “Off The Bridal Path” by Elizabeth Guffey, “Hush Money” by Michael Tooher, and “Elwood’s Last Job” by Elaine Ford.
Featuring Players’ alums Elizabeth Chasse-King (who last appeared with us as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz), Rook Hine, Barb Finn (who first appeared with us as Dora in Love & Lobsters and is a Radio alum), Denise Shannon (The Odd Couple (female version) and Radio), Rose Humeniuk (most recently appeared in The Servant of Two Masters), Karyn Diamond (who was in our last showcase Can U Rel8?), Penny Davis-Dublin (Exit The Body, Love & Lobsters and more), Hali Fortin (Seussical), Andrew Mass, Marguerite Walker (who made her Players debut in Radio last winter), Andrea Myles-Hunkin (I Hate Hamlet, Sisters Rosensweig, and so many more!), Ashley Hamboyen (Exit the Body), Camilla Rosenfeld (who debuted with us as Gertrude in Seussical last summer), Yvonne Devine (Ghosts of Freeport’s Past), and more.
