Stop into Kate’s Cottage Collectibles from 8:30 am – 6 pm for complimentary hot organic coffee, tea or (if 21+) apple cider mimosas, plus popcorn and snacks while you shop. Spend $10, get a free bar of Made in Maine Soap (while supplies last.) Kate’s carries many unique gifts, as well as an array of Made in Maine products. Visit DotCom Comics & Collectibles for their Spook-Tacular Halloween Comic Book Wall. From 10 am to 8 pm, come to shop for really different Halloween gifts, get free candy, and find T-shirts, posters, trading cards, toys and books for the geek in your life! Located on the lower level at 136 Main Street.
Swing into When Pigs Fly to sample old-world, artisan breads baked fresh every day, using the finest organic, natural ingredients from 10 am – 6 pm. 21 Main Street.
From 11 am – 6 pm, pop into FIORE: Artisan Olive Oils & Vinegars at 88 Main Street to taste test the Freshest Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Aged Balsamic of Modena.
From 1 – 5 pm, stop by Freeport Community Services (FCS) Thrift Shop for one of a kind hand painted chairs and other reimagined, fun pieces made by creative volunteers. Stop by, take a seat, purchase a one of a kind piece, and think of FCS! All sales benefit FCS’ Read to Succeed Welcome Baby Bag Project. From 2 – 5 pm, stop into Sweet Repeats – Children’s Consignment Shop for Halloween treats and 20% off your total purchase! Find them at 554 US Route 1.
From 2 – 5 pm, don’t miss the Functional Art, Fused Glass & MS Fundraiser at R.D. Allen Freeport Jewelers featuring Maine artists Mary Ann Glebocki (Functional Art, Mixed Media and Photography) and Thea Demitre (Fused Glass and Jewelry Designer.) A percentage of sale proceeds will be donated to MS research. Refreshments will be served! Find them at 13 Middle Street.
From 2 – 5 pm, stop into Wilbur’s of Maine Chocolate Confections at 174 Lower Main in your finest wizarding gear to enter their Potterville Photo Contest. Snap your best witchy pics in the Harry Potter themed photo stations. Tag @wilbursofmaine and use the hashtag #wilbursofmainefor a chance to win a wicked fun prize!
Whole Dog Camp is hosting an Open House and Canine Good Citizen testing from 2 – 5 pm. Find them at 136 South Freeport Road.
From 2 – 5:30 pm visit Gear Me Outdoor Consignment and help celebrate their 1-year anniversary. Free hot cider and homemade Halloween treats, and you can earn discounts by testing your cornhole skills in the store. Catch a show at Cadenza! Bess Jacques & The Strays perform from 6 – 7:30 pm. The trio’s musical offerings range from hard-swinging to honky-tonk, Louis Armstrong to Fats Domino and Tom Waits, and include beautiful originals, for a mix of sounds that is both classic and fresh. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.
