Glass Mermaid Studio – Relief Carving & Printing

Suanne Williams-Lindgren is the guest teacher for this fun and easy method for making your own print blocks. A great way to make prints is to carve your own designs using “soft-cut”, a material that’s much easier to work with than linoleum. In this class you’ll learn the basics of carving and will produce prints you can later use in other art projects (see Suanne’s Simple Book Arts class). The fees include all of the materials needed for the class including a lino cutter for you to keep and two 4” x 6” print blocks.
Note: Your creations from this class will make nice covers for the SIMPLE ARTIST BOOKS
