Learn about the wide diversity of mushrooms in our forests\, the often-hidden but vital ecological roles that fungi play\, and how to identify some common Maine mushrooms on this leisurely 2-hour walk. With all eyes on the lookout and a little luck\, we hope to find fungi in a wide variety of shapes\, sizes\, colors\, and even odors! Whether you’re a pro or don’t yet know the first thing about fungi\, this walk will be a great opportunity to slow down and take a look at the beautiful details that are easy to miss in the forest.
