Dave Gutter is a Grammy-winning songwriter, musician, and producer from Portland, Maine, best known as the frontman and principal lyricist of the influential band Rustic Overtones and the indie-rock project Paranoid Social Club. His contemporary solo work—including the critically acclaimed rock‑opera The Music Industry Is Trying to Kill Me—blends sharp lyricism and personal storytelling rooted in decades of musical experience.
