Meetinghouse Arts – Plein-Air Painting Workshop
July 10 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
In this two-day workshop teaching artist Chris Reed will guide painters through the important fundamentals of plein air painting including selecting a scene, composing, and easel set up. Additionally, students will learn the basic skills of color mixing, value and applying paint. It will also be a great opportunity for seasoned painters to build on any previous experience. Mindfulness tools will be used to help minimize any inhibitions with the creative process. This workshop is appropriate for beginners and established painters working in oil or acrylic paints. Participants are to bring their own supplies and a field easel.
