Through the Trees – April Vacation Wilderness Experience
April 18 @ 9:30 am
During April vacation week, kids and teens ages 11-15 can get out in nature, learn basic wilderness skills and have fun with friends in the Maine woods, right in Freeport! Join us for three days of campfire building, whittling, making beeswax candles, chilling in hammocks, games and more, surrounded by 58 acres of forest, field, pond and brook. After spending the morning settling in with each other and working on various wilderness skills, we will cook our group lunch over the campfire. After lunch, we will enjoy some lounging time in hammocks among the trees, followed by games for the group. All skill levels are welcome – step outside your comfort zone and try something new, or bring your wilderness experience to share with this group!
