Whole Dog Camp at Bliss Woods Farm – Older (and trickier) Dog Socialization
Dog socialization is a lifelong process, and some dogs are easier (and safer) to socialize than others! Re-homed adult dogs, and even big strong teenage puppies, have different training and social challenges than 8 week old puppies. Here’s a class to support those of you who are starting with a canine work of art!
Jenny Ruth Yasi, CPDT-KA has worked with hundreds of adult dogs with problem social behaviors, including her own rescues and formerly feral dogs in Puerto Rico. Dog freaks out in bad weather? around other dogs? cats? kids? Problem barking, leash pulling, peeing on rugs? Houdini? Anxiety? Aggression? Jenny has been there and done that, helping dogs with problem behaviors settle into comfortable family life. You can do it too.
This is a HUMANS ONLY class on the principles and practice of continued canine socialization. Jenny’s perspective as a professional dog trainer as well as organic gardener will help you recognize simple steps you can take to GROW a better life for any dog!
This is the first of 2 Monday evening workshops. The second workshop is Safer Dog Handling Skills for Pet Owners $25 per evening.
To be held at Ground Floor, Freeport, 13 Bow Street.
