Wolfe’s Neck Center – Salamander Meander

An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Monday and Friday, repeating until August 30, 2024
Meander through the woods of Wolfe’s Neck Center with one of our educators and search for salamanders under logs, snakes basking in the sun, and signs of other wildlife that inhabit the forest bordering our barnyard. Participants will learn what an amphibian is, where salamanders like to live, and how to safely search for and handle them.
Come prepared for a hike and exploration off of the beaten trail! All ages welcome, closed-toed shoes recommended.
