Makumbundo Francisco was born in Angola, raised in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo and moved to Maine in 2013.
Mak was trained as a painter at the Institute des Beaux-Arts and has painted internationally. His favorite style is surrealism but he is accomplished in many other forms.
