I am currently living in PORTLAND after about 20 years in Boston. My formal education (other than liberal arts) is in Fashion Design. I create one of a kind handbags of mixed materials. Most of my bags are constructed of upholstery vinyl and various other upholstery fabrics that are durable, colorful and practical. I use little bits of leather where it is appropriate, and my bags vary in size from something as small as a Wallet to a large over night tote bag. I create everything in my Portland studio and I am continually inspired by nature, other artists, and the vast amount of incredible textiles in the world! I have been doing various craft shows, including Portland Fine Craft for the last several years and really enjoy interfacing with prospective clients and those who appreciate handmade.
