Freeport Antiques & Heirlooms Showcase
Address31 Main St. Freeport, ME 04032
Our Greek Revival period building was constructed in 1829 and known historically as “The Belcher House”. The building’s brick chimneys and folding wood interior shutters still lend original charm to what is now Freeport Antiques & Heirlooms Showcase. As you enter our world of antiques, you will come to find the first and second floors of over 4,000 square feet are brimming with antiques, displayed by top notch dealers and retired auctioneer Jim Julia.
The first floor contains over 30 showcases of small rarities, while the perimeter is lined with curated showroom spaces of quality furniture and hand-crafted period home décor, fine art and statement pieces sure to wow anyone who visits. Before heading upstairs, don’t forget our Wyeth Gallery where you will find a rotating collection centered around three generations of Wyeth’s.
As you head upstairs, you will discover an eclectic palette of timeless grandfather clocks, luxury home furnishings and of course, the historic L.L. Bean memorabilia in our lovely display cases, showcasing some of the earliest original catalogues and prototypes designed from 1925-1950.
We invite you to unearth a treasure from our blend of New England farmhouse furniture and kitchenware to nautical salvage, Victorian to vintage jewelry, Mid-Century Modern accents, war remnants, classic toys, silver, Maine-based tin-type photographs and ephemera, hand-woven textiles, early-edition books, and countless miniatures – we’ve truly got something for everyone!
