Need a mental boost? The outdoors has the power to reenergize and rejuvenate your mind in ways no other space can. A little time outside each day can help you relieve stress, find inspiration, and feel happier overall. In support of World Mental Health Day on October 10th and with our partners at Mental Health America, L.L.Bean is challenging you to spend some quality time with your outdoor self, to experience just how impactful nature can be for your mental health and wellbeing.

This October 10 to October 31, take 20 minutes every day (or a total of 440 minutes) and do something outside that fills you with joy. Get moving and get those endorphins pumping, take a scenic walk for some well overdue me-time, or stop everything and just be in the moment. Complete the challenge and you’ll receive a new digital badge to show off in your Strava Trophy Case – but that’s not the only reward. The biggest reward comes from the time you spend outside and the many life-improving benefits you’ll discover when you’re there.
