Freeport Rotary – 28th Close to the Coast 5K & 10K

Come join us in what’s sure to be your favorite annual race event. The Close to the Coast race offers both 5k and 10k options along roads and beautiful moderate trails with stunning ocean views. This family friendly event includes free food and beer for racers, (donations accepted from others) live music, kid’s fun run and more. Excellent pies accompany all prizes! Registrations are now live for the 2026 Close to the Coast 5-10K road race. We are so looking forward to having you all join us once again for all of the things that make this race so unique – a great course (through the woods and along the coast of Maine) delicious food, cold beer and let’s not forget the prize pies!
