R&R Legacy Jewelry Studio

I am a silversmith specializing in hand-cut coins. Using a jeweler's hand saw with blades as fine as .15mm, I meticulously cut actual U.S. and world coins into beautiful works of wearable art. My cut coins are some of the finest and most detailed anywhere in the world. I often pair them with recycled sterling silver or reclaimed industrial copper components, creating one-of-a-kind designs that are exquisitely crafted, environmentally friendly and socially responsible. As a second generation craftsman, I learned the art of silversmithing at my father's workbench as a child. When I was old enough to handle a jeweler's saw, I was taught to work with coins by cutting Abe Lincoln out of old copper pennies. The history and significance of coins, and the way they connect people through space and time has always fascinated me. In addition to my experience in jewelry studios, I received my BFA with concentrations in sculpture and painting from The School or Art and Design at WCU.
