Anna Jones

Saturday, October 4 from 3-3:45pm, on the Mallard Parking Lot Stage  Anna Jones is a singer and guitarist from Rockport whose solo performances blend folk and indie roots with storytelling and folklore. With songs that drift through fairy glens and sea voyages, listeners are invited into a dreamscape of myth, legend, and fantasy. When not writing songs and singing, Anna Jones is the Executive Director at The Midcoast Community Chorus, a 501(3)(c) non-profit based in Maine that aims to build community through the power of music. Anna Jones is also a music business manager and digital marketing consultant for the high echelon musical icons Sharon Robinson and Gordon Bok, for whom she provides specialized web, social media, publishing, tour, and photography support, as well as office management assistance. Formerly a contributing arts and culture writer at the LA Weekly, Anna also served as the Digital Marketing and Street Team Coordinator there after graduating with a Masters Degree from the Writing and Critical Studies program at the California Institute of the Arts, where she also served on the board of Trustees and as Student body President. Anna is currently the guitar player and contralto voice in the band “The Mermaids“, and recently starred in “The Petra and Mo Show“, an educational musical puppet show produced by The Barn Arts Collective.
