Representing two-thirds of the notoriously rollicking Midcoast band The Mermaids, Mary Fairfield and Anna Jones bring vintage harmonies that blend Maine storytelling and folklore with traditional shanties and original songs that bring listeners on a magical voyage at sea. When not luring sailors onto rocks, they also work together to wrangle the Midcoast Community Chorus, a multi-generational non-auditioned choir that is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit based in Rockport that sings as a community, for the community.
