Glass Mermaid Studio – Kiln Carving Class

Discover the magic of kiln carving in this hands-on fused glass class! Students will design and create dimensional glass pieces using fiber paper to form a relief mold, then layering and firing glass to capture intricate textures and depth. This process allows you to achieve beautifully sculpted surfaces, organic patterns, and striking light effects. Perfect for beginners and experienced glass artists alike, this class explores creative design, safe kiln practices, and finishing techniques to complete a one-of-a-kind artwork.. All materials are included in this workshop, and is suitable for all levels, beginners welcome! We will be making several small sample pieces that can be used in later fused glass or stained glass projects.
Projects will be ready to pick up during the following week. 3 hours. $75
