5th Annual The Maine Oyster Festival

Visit Freeport’s The Maine Oyster Festival is a two-day celebration bringing together dozens of Maine oyster farms and tens of thousands of freshly shucked oysters in one unforgettable weekend. Designed for food lovers, ocean enthusiasts, and families alike, the festival features outstanding local seafood, demos, educational experiences, live music throughout the weekend, and a wide range of free activities for kids and families. Rooted in Maine’s working waterfront and a commitment to responsible aquaculture, the festival offers a vibrant, welcoming way to experience the flavors, culture, and people behind Maine’s iconic oysters.

Free to attend. Raw oyster tasting tickets and merch will be available to pre-order here for pick up, or purchase in person at the event. All other food and cooked oysters may be paid for by cash or credit card.
