Meetinghouse Arts – State Street Traditional Jazz Band

Since 1989, the State Street Traditional Jazz Band of Portland has been playing and preserving the rousing music of New Orleans that was birthed at the turn of the last Century. The music they play represents the origin of jazz whose roots come directly from the French Quarter of New Orleans. Their music is a living art form that brings audiences together from all walks of life.
