Bradbury Mountain State Park – Nighttime Creatures & Sky Tour

Venture out to learn about some amazing nighttime creatures and the importance of dark skies. We’ll start at the shelter and then hike the short (15-minute) but steep summit trail to the top of Bradbury Mt. for the sunset. There we will look and listen for evening creatures and observe the night sky. We will return on the easy 1-mile Northern Loop Trail. For adults and children 10 years and older-children must be accompanied by an adult. The program is about 2-1/2 hours in length. Meet at the Picnic Shelter by the playground. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Bring if you have them: binoculars, a red lens flashlight or headlamp, and a folding chair or pad. Free with park admission: Bradbury Mt. Day use: $1.00 ages 5-11, $4.00 Maine residents age 12-64, $6.00 non residents age 12-64, $2.00 non residents 65+; persons under 5 & Maine residents 65+ free
