Cadenza – Charles Bernier

Charles Bernier is a performing songwriter, delivering unique made in Maine acoustic music, with a powerful finger picking style and thought provoking lyrics touching on many genres, such as folk, roots rock, blues, bluegrass and more. His music has been getting rave reviews lately from performances in Maine, as well as on radio stations all over the country and in Canada, Ireland, Spain and Italy!
Since the eighties he has played a great deal all over Maine and New Hampshire. He has also spent many years as part of a duo in Northern California, playing every kind of club, fair and event available. They recorded two live albums at that time, one on Mount Shasta at the Stage Door and another at Sengthongs in Dunsmuir. He just recorded two studio albums (soon to be released) at Frog Hollow Studio in Brunswick.
Charles Bernier’s music has been featured on 35 radio and 6 TV stations, with the most recent being at the Boothbay Opera House on Boothbay Regional Television, in conjunction with the Maine Songwriters Association.
