JAZZ WORKSHOP – “Follow the Leader”
Every note you play sends a message to your listeners as well as to your collaborators. Understanding who is in charge of a musical situation and what you and your bandmates are telling each other are key elements to a successful musical partnership. Led by James Fernando, this workshop dives into the dynamics of playing with others.
The jazz workshop will be 2:30 – 3:30 on Sunday, Sept 7. Attendance is $10. Ticket refunded if you purchase a ticket to one of James’ performances. We believe piano students, music students on any instrument, music teachers, and other pianists will enjoy James’ workshop. Please join us.
