A 9-piece, high-energy band with horns and multiple vocalists, the YellowHouse Blues Band is thrilled to be back at Cadenza Freeport on Saturday, May 16th, 2026! After last year’s sold-out performance, they’re back with a NEW setlist, presenting the First Ladies of The Blues, a powerful tribute celebrating the pioneering women who shaped the blues from the 1920s to today. From the groundbreaking sounds of Bessie Smith, Memphis Minnie and Aretha Franklin to the dynamic styles of contemporary icons like Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi and Joanne Shaw Taylor, this tribute honors blues women whose legacies have continually reshaped the genre’s soul.
