Cotton Weeds Quilt Shop – Chicken Scratch Embroidery Class

Learn the soothing and portable art of chicken scratch embroidery. It is traditionally stitched on gingham fabric with a combination of stitching and weaving. Chicken scratch embroidery was popular during the first half of the 1900’s, especially during the Great Depression, because it was an inexpensive and simple way to decorate gingham fabric. Cost of the class is $20 and includes supplies!
