Cotton Weeds Quilt Shop – Wool Applique Class

Learn the basics of wool applique as we work on a wool chicken mug rug. We’ll go over how to trace designs onto fusible web and transfer to the background, wool felt vs. 100% wool vs. cotton, thread choice, stitches (blanket stitch and backstitch), and how to attach the backing. This class is geared toward the sewist who is new to wool applique or could use a refresher; all levels welcome.
