Freeport Community Library – April Spice Club: Sichuan Peppercorns

Spice Club is a monthly take-and-make craft for adults. Swing by the Freeport Community Library to pick up the month’s unique spice and try one of the included recipes, or seek out your own inspiration!
The featured April spice is Sichuan peppercorns. Not hot or pungent like black, white, or chile pepper, Sichuan peppercorns have slightly lemony overtones and create a tingly numbness in the mouth. Spice Club kits include pre-portioned spice as well as regional/cultural background and at least two recipes printed on cardstock. Pickup begins Thursday, April 25 at 10:00AM and will continue until supplies run out.
