Freeport Historical Society – Exhibits & Ice Cream Making

Freeport Historical Society will be open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM to welcome visitors to our exhibits, and from 12:00-2:00 PM we’ll be making ice cream in an old-fashioned ice cream machine and reading about Augustus Jackson, an ice cream entrepreneur from the 1800s. Stop by to see new objects and images on exhibit and learn the history of a favorite summer treat!
