Freeport Oyster Bar – Benefit for I’m Your Neighbor Books

The Freeport Oyster Bar is stepping up for Maine’s immigrant families and neighbors!

Any items on their incredible food and drinks menu purchased during the event will benefit the nonprofit I’m Your Neighbor Books.

All ages welcome at Freeport Oyster Bar to:
Read impactful picture books
Hear about the work of the award-winning nonprofit
Raise a glass of gluten-free beer from Orange Bike Brewing Co.
Follow a StoryWalk in the courtyard

I’m Your Neighbor Books supports the immigrant community in Maine and across the nation with story-based care packages for families impacted by ICE and by using children’s books featuring immigrant families to reduce anti-immigrant racism.

For every donation made to I’m Your Neighbor Books during the event, the nonprofit will give a book to Freeport Community Services’ youth programs. If you can’t join us but would like to support IYNB and the Freeport Community, you can do so through the IYNB website.
