Glass Mermaid Studio – Freeze and Fuse with Mold Making Class

In this three-hour class, suitable for every skill level, we’ll use molds for freeze and fuse technique; and while the freezer does its job, we’ll teach you how to make your own molds. The molds are great for making multiples of those small components you can use in your new designs. Think: tiny mushrooms, daisies, frogs, and gnomes. This class teaches you how to make them rather than buying ones that don’t quite suit your fancy. Bring any favorite tiny (1/2” or less) favorite tchotchkes (think buttons, old jewelry, game pieces, leaves, etc.) We will also have some items to use. You will create the mold for your own custom glass components, which you can use over and over. If you have your own small silicon molds, please bring them. Totally simplifies gift-giving!! This should be a great class!! Class is suitable for all levels. Glass components will be frozen, fired and picked up at a later date.
