Goodfire Freeport Tasting Room & Kitchen – First Annual Oyster Fest

It’s OFFICIAL! December = LOCALS’ Oyster Season. Why, you ask? Because the tourists are gone, it’s dark and cold, and slow season is upon us… yet the cold Gulf of Maine water is making oysters plumper, sweeter, richer—the best they taste all year. It’s the perfect time for Mainers to slurp as many oysters as possible. So we’re throwing OYSTERFEST at Goodfire Freeport, Dec 12–14.

Oysters on the half shell, a chance to meet your local oyster farmers, oyster specials from the kitchen, and an Oyster Saison beer release
Plus, a Saturday shucking time trial with @joly_rogers_
An all-weekend-long raffle to benefit @GulfofMaineResearchInstitute
