Goodfire Freeport Tasting Room & Kitchen – Winter Seed Sowing

Come on over for a hands-on, kid-friendly exploration of growing native plants from seed presented by Wild Seed Project. We’ll get to know the plants that support our beloved monarchs (hint: it’s more than just milkweed!). And we’ll sow seeds! All participants will leave with a pot of seeds for home.
This workshop is great for kids and adults alike. The first hour will be hands-on activities and seed sowing; the second hour is for those who would like to stick around for further discussion of native plants and how to care for them.
And of course, all are welcome to stay after for tasty food and drink at Goodfire!
