Holiday Fun in Freeport
Come for the Shopping. Stay for the Sparkle.
Get the best gifts – and an unforgettable holiday experience – all in one place. Inside our store and out, we’re taking every precaution to help protect your health as you enjoy our spectacular holiday displays.
Let’s all have a happier, healthier holiday by spending it outside together! With dancing lights and music, dazzling window displays, festive photo ops, merry gift shopping and more, the new socially distanced version of our favorite winter tradition still delivers plenty of warmth and cheer – something we could all use a little more of this year.
Twinkle Light Tunnel
State guidelines limit the number of customers we can let in the store at once, so we’re making the wait part of the fun! A tunnel of twinkling lights will lead the way to the entrance, providing shelter from the weather, room to socially distance, and a good dose of holiday magic to lift your spirits.
Festive Photo Ops
Discover the perfect selfie spots or step inside our human-sized snow globe to capture unforgettable memories right here on the L.L.Bean campus. Don’t forget to use #BeanOutsider to share your favorite shots!
“Holidays Around the World” Interactive Walk
Head out on an interactive journey around the world to see how other countries and cultures celebrate their most important holidays throughout the year. Stop at each trailmarker and scan the codes with your phone to learn something new on this fun, engaging and educational walk.
There are so many things to do and see at Northern Lights – so whether you want to take in our spectacular light show or just take a break from the action, we saved you a seat (and kept it warm) by placing heated benches all around Discovery Park.
Whimsical Window Displays
Something special is happening in the windows of our four Freeport stores! Take a winter walk around the L.L.Bean campus to visit each one – you’ll find our famous model train village, an awe-inspiring display of gingerbread architecture, vintage L.L.Bean products, and more.
