Mast Landing Audubon Sanctuary – Spring Bird Walk
April 30 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Join us for a bird walk, for all levels. Meet in the parking lot, where we’ll begin a slow walk around the property to look and listen for birds. The walk typically covers between 1 to 2 miles (1.5 – 3 km). Waterproof shoes are recommended, some trails may be muddy. Please bring binoculars, but we will have extra pairs to borrow if needed.
The walk is offered free of charge, but donations are encouraged.
Only one mile from the bustling downtown of Freeport, Maine, Mast Landing Audubon Sanctuary is 145 acres of diverse habitat rich in human and natural history. It is located along the Harraseeket River estuary, with more than three miles of trails that wind along a stream and tidal marsh and through orchard, fields, and forest.
