Mast Landing Audubon Sanctuary – Volunteer Workday

Join Maine Audubon’s Properties Department for a constructive morning of stewardship work at Mast Landing Sanctuary in Freeport. We will work together to revitalize the parking lot by surfacing the gazebo flooring with fresh wood chips and cleaning up the surrounding parking areas. There may also be the opportunity to haul in materials to begin the construction of two new picnic tables in the field at Mast Landing.

Only one mile from the bustling downtown of Freeport, Maine, Mast Landing Audubon Sanctuary is 145 acres of diverse habitat rich in human and natural history. It is located along the Harraseeket River estuary, with more than three miles of trails that wind along a stream and tidal marsh and through orchard, fields, and forest.
