Porters Landing Guest House & Artist Studio – Introduction to Mosaic Jewelry Class

In this fun beginners class, you’ll learn the art of micro mosaics through making one of a kind micro mosaic jewelry! You’ll learn modern techniques to create this beautiful art form, originally produced in the 16th century by the Vatican School in Italy.
Instruction will include how to safely cut and use filati and millefiori, proper adhesives and puddies, and help designing your creations! You can make two pieces of jewelry in the class. Choices will be earrings, a pendant, or a brooch.
