The Maine Organic Marketplace – Botanical Dye Workshop

Join textile artist, Samantha Verrone, for a natural dye workshop using food waste and autumnal tannin rich windfall. Purchase a Common Ground 50th anniversary t-shirt (sizes small and medium available), or bring your own garment or textiles. Natural fibers work best, but blends are okay too. We will explore techniques like shibori tie dye and dip dye as well as work with color shifters.
