MDH Studio was established in 2019 under the original name Bad Fox Collections. I produce mostly on ceramic work with a concentration on wheel-thrown functional wares. However, I always find it rewarding to stretch my creative wings with large vessels, both on the wheel and hand built.
I am also a silversmith and I craft jewelry by hand using traditional tools, silver, and stones. Though most of my products are ceramic, I do occasionally return to my jewelers bench throughout the year.
As a true introvert, I’ve always found that I express myself best through the tangible. For me, self-expression through art is the best way to find balance in both my internal and external worlds. Each piece is made from start to finish by hand. Created with heart and intent, there is evidence of the process, hard work, and love in each and every piece.
