Working from photographs I’ve taken on my journeys around New England, I paint using professional grade acrylics in my studio to capture small moments of story telling, often of forgotten “treasures” from building and agriculture like trucks, barns, silos, tractors and more. My love of nature and wildlife are evident in my subject matter for my 4” and 6” minis and handcrafted birdhouses, each of which features a hand painted local bird, often with a local flower, insect or tree branch painted on for added interest. I paint only originals and have enjoyed my visits to Maine for coastal line, lake, mountain, hiking and wildlife inspiration!
