North Window Ceramics is a studio owned and operated by me, Casey Lynch. My work is inspired by antique natural history illustrations and by my training in relief printmaking. Most of my thrown pieces and jewelry are decorated using a process called sgraffito, which involves painting underglaze onto leather-hard ceramics and carving out a design before firing. I also specialize in simple functional housewares in earth tones and metallic glazes.
