Terry Golson is an observer of nature, a dog trainer, equestrian and animal behavior consultant. She lives in house that overlooks a turtle breeding persevere and beaver marsh. There is a lot of wildlife to get to know. She brings her lifelong love of animals to her ceramic sculptures. Some sculptures are realistic renderings, others are true to nature – even if not an animal found in a field guide! Even if Terry has a plan when she starts her sculpture, the animal tells her who they are. Terry works out of a community studio in York, Maine.
