My name is Ian and I have lived in Maine since 2011. I started my pottery journey almost two years ago when I took some basic pottery wheel lessons. I never viewed myself as artistic before then. Since those initial lessons I have deeply enjoyed learning the art and working with clay.
My work is inspired by the world around me and everyday life. I am particularly drawn to bowls and all of the good things that can go into a nice bowl. I also make small trinket trays with various designs; fruits, vegetables, animals. I am never sure where inspiration will strike.
