Wolfe’s Neck has something for everyone. Each campsite here is unique, unlike the cookie-cutter sites you will find at many campgrounds. Spread out over 626 acres with over three miles of shoreline, the campground has three distinct areas to choose from:
East Bay: Camper Conveience
East Bay includes some of our more private tent sites and our 30amp Electric and Water RV sites. Sites 100-200 are mostly shaded, with the convenience of our Farm Café, Shower Building and Camp Store nearby. The 400s loop is set in an open grassy meadow, giving RVers the best of sunny days and starry nights (with WiFi!)
West Bay: Where the Farm Meets the Ocean
West Bay is perfect for families with small children. This area features our recreation field, playground, and shower building with flushing toilets. Most sites are wide open and grassy, and have panoramic views of Casco Bay and our vegetable fields. RVs allowed on certain sites (no hookups). This is an awesome area to enjoy the sun and stars, and to see our farmers hard at work.
NEW Quiet Cove: Zen in the Pines
This walk-in section of the campground is perfect for those looking for a back-to-nature camping experience. On the edge of a tidal estuary, this area will quickly become a favorite of those looking for quiet and solitude. Campers agree to keep voices low at all times, and refrain from using amplified music or bright lights. Each campsite comes with a hammock, and is limited to three people and one tent. This area can also be reserved for those wishing to hold group retreats.
Cabins & Cottages
Set on its own private lot, this traditional Maine cabin offers sweeping ocean views and private stairs down to the rocky shoreline. A great room offers lots of space to spread out, and a patio provides outdoor seating with a view. Bedroom has two queen-size camp mattresses, and there is a twin-size cot as well.
Cove & Point Senior Cabins
Built in 2014, Cove and Point Senior have similar layouts. Galley-style kitchen opens into the living/dining room. Bedroom features a queen-size pillowtop bed, and twin-size bunkbeds. The sleeping loft (up a ladder) offers two additional twin beds.
While they both have lovely views, Point Senior has the additional benefit of a campfire out on the “point” as well as private stairs down to the rocky shoreline.
Our campground is part of Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture and the Environment, a leading organic demonstration farm and educational resource center with the mission of transforming our relationship with farming and food for a healthier planet.

Recompence has something for everyone. Each campsite here is unique, unlike the cookie-cutter sites you will find at many campgrounds. Spread out over 626 acres with over three miles of shoreline, the campground has three distinct areas to choose from:
East Bay: Inland sites. All of our Electric & Water Hookup sites are here, as well as some of our most private tent sites. Sites 2-56 are shady, and sites 60-70 are in a more open area. This is the closest area to the Camp Store, showers and Snack Shack.
Middle Bay: Tents only area. Forested and shady, Middle Bay gives the feeling of being deep in the woods, yet with many waterfront sites.
West Bay: Tents and RVs welcome (no hook-ups). West Bay has tall trees along the water line, and open fields and pasture. This area is particularly suited to kids, as it hosts the playground and recreation field. This area was recently improved with our new shower building.
