The Maine Oyster Festival Shucking Schedule: Saturday, June 28, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Sunday, June 29, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: All sea farms & mobile shuckers will be located in the Mallard Parking Lot behind Freeport Historical Society
What to Expect: Raw oysters will be available from sea farms & mobile shuckers. They each have the choice of participating on one or both days. We will be using a ticket system where you can purchase vouchers in advance or when you arrive for $3 each. One $3 ticket = one raw oyster from anyone at the Festival. Food trucks, some farms & mobile shuckers will also offer grilled, fried, or smoked oysters and other food for sale directly by cash or credit cards. Most will also have shirts, hats, shucking tools and other items for sale too. Be sure to try our signature mignonette by FIORE Artisan Olive Oils & Vinegars, official condiment Kimchi Juice by Kimchi Beyond Compare & official hot sauce, Scurvy Dog by Captain Mowatt’s!
