Each year on the first weekend in October, Visit Freeport brings together over 225 of the best New England artists, makers and local food producers for a three-day festival throughout downtown Freeport, Maine.
In addition to browsing local art, join us for three days of live music. There are also plenty of free activities for kids from make ‘n take crafts, to scavenger hunts and more. And, thanks to our generous sponsors, it’s all FREE!

Festival Guide
Each year on the first weekend in October, we bring together the best New England artists and makers for a town-wide three-day festival in Freeport, Maine. Enjoy browsing for just the right piece to add to your collection, plus sample all the fun of a day in Freeport! This year’s festival guide is HUGE and it will be difficult to print at home. Call us at 207-865-1212 to request one by mail, pick one up in town starting around the middle of September, or we’ll have plenty at the Information Booths throughout the Festival when you arrive.

Although downtown Freeport has plentiful, free parking, our complimentary Festival shuttles offer even more convenience for those who would like to park quickly and get dropped off right at the heart of the Festival.

Our comfortable & convenient shuttles are accessible for wheelchair users.
Multiple shuttles will run continuously during the times indicated on a staggered schedule.
