We’re celebrating our nation’s 250th with a full day of fun!
7am-10am – Freeport Harraseeket Grange #9 – Annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast. Come and join us for our Annual 4th of July Pancake Breakfast! Pancakes (plain and blueberry) and sausages! $10
7:25 and 9:10 a.m. – L.L.Bean 10K Road Race and 1-Mile Family Fun Run
Our hometown race has been an Independence Day staple for over 40 years! All proceeds support the YMCA of Southern Maine Casco Bay Branch.
10 a.m. – Main Street Parade
Take your spot along Main Street as Freeport’s classic American parade marches through town.
12 p.m. 
Red, white & PB! Starting at 12:00 PM, L.L.Bean is giving away FREE Peanut Butter & Jelly Tacos to the first 1,000 guests—while supplies last! Once they’re gone, we’ll be serving all your PB&ME favorites from the regular menu. Come celebrate, grab a tasty treat, and enjoy the holiday with us! 
3pm-5pm – j. plum home – 4th of July Sip and Shop: Enjoy complimentary cocktails and mocktails as you explore the new shop!
7 p.m. – L.L.Bean Music in the Park: Don Campbell Band, Country Americana
Regarding Independence Day Fireworks
The Town of Freeport has been unable to find suitable locations for the safe launching and viewing of fireworks on Independence Day. And so unfortunately there will not be 4th of July fireworks in Freeport this year.
Whether you’ve got a dazzling float idea, a classic car to show off, a band ready to march, or simply a desire to walk in the parade and wave to the crowd, we’d love for you to join us in celebrating America’s birthday in true Freeport style.
